BIOGRAPHY

Paul joined the Royal Air Force as an Aircraft Propulsion (engines) technician just after school and a 30-year RAF career saw him rise to the Senior Non-Commissioned Officer rank of Chief Technician.

It was in the later stages of this career he became an educator, teaching on such aircraft platforms as the E3-D Sentry AWACS aircraft and the historical aircraft of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, where he spent many hours flying in the iconic Lancaster bomber.

Upon leaving the RAF, he set about converting his military teaching qualifications into civilian equivalents, and at the age of 50 he completed teacher training at Lincoln College and an Engineering Management degree at the University of Lincoln.

Paul has been at ASI since its inception in September 2021.
