BIOGRAPHY

Graham’s passion for aviation started at an early age, when living in Bovingdon watching the aircraft flying into Heathrow, in the days where you could stand at the end of Heathrow’s runway.

After various jobs, including banking, sales and Formula One, he completed his commercial Pilots License and Flight Instructor Ratings over in Orlando Florida in the late 90’s.

He got his first job back in early 2000 flying the Beech 400 for a private owner from Leeds Bradford which then led to obtaining a First Officer position with Wal-Mart (ASDA) also based at Leeds flying company executive’s around.

He then went on to get qualified on the Hawker 800XP, again flying for a private owner for about a year, before being transferred on to the worlds fastest civil jet at the time, the Citation X. Flying passenger’s like Hugh Grant, David Beckham, JK Rowling to name a few.

Based in Russia and Kazakhstan, he was flying the Citation X all over, from the USA to Russia and Kazakhstan and down to the Middle East.

Having spent many years in Corporate aviation, he joined Eastern Airways on the Saab 2000 based in Aberdeen, then Norwich, Teesside and finally Humberside.

Graham then over the years worked his way up to a Training Captain on the Saab 2000, and after that aircraft left the fleet, he went on to get qualified on the Embraer 135/145/170/190.

At one point in his career, he was current on the world fastest civil turbo prob and worlds fastest civil jet at the same time. He has also operated into two of the top 10 most dangerous airports in the world, and London City.

Graham is now here at the college, delivering his knowledge and experience to the students on the Pilot Pathway course.
