Krystian has successfully landed a position as a dispatcher with Swissport at East Midlands airport (EMA) - they provide ground services and efficiently manage an air cargo warehouse at EMA. He started his journey with us on the Level 3 Pilot & Aviation Operations Pathway.
At his recent graduation ceremony, Krystian and his classmate Lexi won the Quiet Tiger Aviation Award | All students have Air Training Events (ATEs) as part of their enrichment at Nottingham Aerodrome, where they fly an aircraft!
Capt Chris Hives, Director Quiet Tiger | "Their engaging personas, enthusiastic attitude and enquiring minds made their time with the Quiet Tiger Aviation Ltd team an absolute pleasure for all."
Krystian Skrzypczac | "There is a lot of opportunities to be had and a lot of enrichment trips you wouldn't get studying an Aviation Operations course anywhere else."
At the start of his second year at ASI, Krystian aimed to secure a job within Commercial Aviation. Over summer (2022) Krystian and a few of his classmates completed work experience at EMA to help enhance their CVs and provide an insight into airport operations and roles.
Students helped around at the terminal, preparing people for check ins and to go around security, making it more efficient for customers and creating ease on their journey. They also gained experience with the assisted travel team, helping PRMs (a passenger with restricted movement).
The students were able to gain a great scope of customer service and developed key skills, including:
Krystian Skrzypczac and Lexie Jackson at the start of their journey with us in the classroom VS the end of their journey at their graduation receiving their Quiet Tiger Award.
