Krystian has successfully landed a position as a dispatcher with Swissport at East Midlands airport (EMA) - they provide ground services and efficiently manage an air cargo warehouse at EMA. He started his journey with us on the Level 3 Pilot & Aviation Operations Pathway.
At his recent graduation ceremony, Krystian and his classmate Lexi won the Quiet Tiger Aviation Award | All students have Air Training Events (ATEs) as part of their enrichment at Nottingham Aerodrome, where they fly an aircraft!

At the start of his second year at ASI, Krystian aimed to secure a job within Commercial Aviation. Over summer (2022) Krystian and a few of his classmates completed work experience at EMA to help enhance their CVs and provide an insight into airport operations and roles.
Students helped around at the terminal, preparing people for check ins and to go around security, making it more efficient for customers and creating ease on their journey. They also gained experience with the assisted travel team, helping PRMs (a passenger with restricted movement).

Kian embarked on an exciting journey at major airline TUI with his Cabin Crew role, following the completion of his course on the Pilot & Aviation Operations Civil Pathway.

Amy who was on the Engineering Military & Defence Pathway recently graduated at RAF Cranwell alongside her peers and has secured employment in the RAF as a weapons tech!
She also received the Students' Student award, nominated by her peers - recognising her dedication, hard work, and exceptional abilities.
As part of course enrichment Amy and her classmates enjoyed a two-week enrichment trip to Norway. Students were able put their skills into action, testing the hydraulics of an aircraft gaining invaluable hands-on experience. Not only receiving exceptional practical opportunities, students were able to experience personal growth living independently and developing budgeting skills.

Emily Evans on the Pilot & Aviation Operations Civil Pathway recently graduated at RAF Cranwell and has secured an exciting Search and Rescue scholarship at Bristow.
