Eastern Airways

Eastern Airways is an independent UK airline founded in 1997, based locally at Humberside Airport in Lincolnshire. They operate scheduled passenger services in their own name as well as on behalf of national flag carriers such as Air France and KLM Cityhopper. The airline also offers wide-ranging charter, contract and specialist air-services for many other operators and sectors in the UK & Europe.

Founded by Richard Lake OBE who remains the owner of the airline today, Eastern Airways have IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) accreditation, marking excellence in safety standards, and have won many awards for service standards and industry-leading initiatives. The airline’s operation uses a diverse mixed fleet, with the BAE Systems (formerly British Aerospace) Jetstream 41 as a type being operated continuously since 2003.

Affinity Flying Services Limited supports UK military air capability by playing a key part in the seamless progression of pilots through flying training based at RAF Cramwell, Lincolnshire.

Air Salvage International

Air Salvage International have been supplying expertly cut aircraft sections (wide and narrow bodied) to colleges and training organisations for more than two decades. Their own in-house fabrication team craft these bespoke sections to satisfy the requirements of their UK and European clients. 

Through their partnership with the Air and Space Institute, they are supplying equipment and expert advice to support the delivery of ASI Newark’s excellent training programmes.
