In April 2024, the Air and Space Institute (ASI) in Newark officially opened its doors to students. After two years of anticipation, the £15.4m state-of-the-art facility welcomed its existing cohort of students from the interim facility at Newark College.

As part of the Lincoln College Group, the Air and Space Institute celebrated its extraordinary students at the annual Further Education Awards Ceremony this week. We are thrilled that two exceptional students from the ASI Civil and Military & Defence pathways have received awards in recognition of their commitment to education.

The Air and Space Institute is proud to announce its latest partnership with Surrey Satellite Technology Limited (SSTL). SSTL hailed as the original New Space renegade, has consistently pushed the boundaries of space innovation, and this collaboration is set to redefine the future of space education and exploration.
