Penny Taylor MBE

She has a range of experience across educational pathways as well as working with a range of different age groups and students.

Penny has achieved degrees in Social Science and Criminology, Quality Assurance and Teacher Training. She has a Master’s in Education, has achieved Advanced Teacher Status and sits on the Practitioner Advisory Group for the Education and Training Foundation.

Penny was awarded an MBE in June 2023 for Services to Education, Skills and Employment in Newark and Sherwood.

Outside of College, Penny has run a Brownie group for over 25 years and sees the value of this to empower young people to gain a variety of skills, resilience and enjoyment.

She has two grandchildren who she adores and they keep her young!
