BIOGRAPHY

Ross Tarnowski is Assistant Principal for the Air & Space Institute and Engineering at Lincoln College Group, where he is responsible for the effective leadership of all programmes through developing and delivering exciting curricula and extraordinary learning, assessment and teaching. This includes study programmes, apprenticeships, higher education provision and commercial courses.

Ross is a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, Chartered Management Institute and Chartered College of Teaching, holding a Bachelor of Science with Honours and a Postgraduate in Strategic Management and Leadership Practice.  

He is a successful and proven senior professional with a wealth of knowledge operating across a range of leadership, management and technical skills roles in the educational, engineering and construction sectors.

Ross is also an experienced Aircraft Engineer and Manager having completed a 22-year career in the Royal Air Force. Skilled in engineering technical training, aircraft maintenance, airworthiness, strategic planning and systems engineering has seen him lead teams both in the UK and on overseas deployments across the world. 

Ross is a keen sportsman and trainer where his passion for rugby union has seen him represent the RAF as both a player and coach, alongside professional contracts with a number of clubs during his playing career. Now old and knackered, Ross enjoys coaching age grade rugby at his local club, Lincoln RFC!
