Women in Property brought together a group of like-minded individuals for an exclusive site visit to our highly anticipated Air and Space Institute yesterday.
This remarkable event showcased the expertise of our esteemed speakers - including Nick Pettit, GM QGM, Director of Estates, and Jasmine Craft, Project Manager from the Lincoln College Group. Additionally, Tim Hubner, Project Manager at G F Tomlinson, spoke to the group alongside William Silby from Stem Architects Ltd and Mark Lusher from Curtins.
During the enlightening talk, our speakers delved into the intricacies and challenges inherent in this groundbreaking project. They emphasised the indispensable collaboration and diverse range of expertise required to bring this visionary initiative to life. The developmental phases of the build have been an incredible journey, encompassing everything from sustainability choices to Newark architectural typology, aviation influences and infrastructure challenges. With a coordinated effort the various teams have moved the project on leaps and bounds. This thought-provoking discussion highlighted the project's innovation.
