Welcome to IASTI

In April this year, we launched IASTI (Newark): The UK’s first International Air & Space Training Institute.

We’re now hard at work preparing for our first intake of students in September 2021 and you can click here to apply now.

From September, we’ll be helping students gain the skills, knowledge and experience to begin exciting careers where the sky is no longer the limit.

The International Air & Space Training Institute

As a partnership between Lincoln College Group, Aviation 360 and the Royal Air Force, our courses are designed hand-in-hand with the aviation industry to train the pilots, ground crew and engineers of the future.

This has been made possible by a multi-million pound investment from the Government’s Towns Fund initiative which will help us build a state of the art premises on the outskirts of Newark, Nottinghamshire in 2023.

Until then, we’re creating an amazing learning environment in the heart of Newark where students will get hands-on training with the latest equipment from expert tutors.

Learning at IASTI (Newark)

Learning at IASTI (Newark) will open clear routes for progression into the workplace, with qualifications from Level Two and Three, right through to degree-level. Our courses will lead you toward ‘A-license’ mechanic/technician roles and ‘B-Licence’ aviation engineering roles as well as piloting and flight dispatcher roles, with multiple jump-off gateways.

When you study through IASTI (Newark), your education and training will be delivered by industry experts with years of flying and aircraft engineering experience in the air and space sector.

Our aim is to produce highly skilled pilots, engineers and flight dispatchers to plug skills and capacity gaps, ready for the anticipated surge in demand that’s expected post-pandemic. Students will also be at the forefront of the innovative, sustainability-focused mind-set which is helping to transform aviation.

Our industry supporters will also hire graduates as apprentices, sponsored/tagged students or as full-time employees. You could also be offered apprenticeships at any point during your studies, enabling you to work and start earning while you’re still learning.

At IASTI (Newark), everything is designed to get your career ready for takeoff as soon as you graduate.

Our journey has just begun - where will it take you?
